Description: A New York based distribution company is seeking to fill the position of a Business Administrator

The position has complete oversight of the company’s financial and administrative activities. Incumbent will prepare monthly Financials for submission to Head Office and Sales & Operations Manager; additionally is responsible for all statutory and legal compliance.

Core functions

· Cash and Working Capital Management

· Preparing month end closing activities and reconciling AP – Sub- ledger to General ledger

· Inventory management

· Processing and completing the Monthly Financial Statements

· Financial analysis

· Fixed asset maintenance and management

· Payroll management

· Bank reconciliation

· Oversight for office and warehouse

Skills/Abilities required

· Analytical and quick thinking

· Effective written and oral communication skills

· Assertive in disposition

· Must be able to function in a fast paced dynamic environment

· Must have relevant documentation to work in the USA

Qualifications:

Qualification

· 1st Degree in Finance/Accounts or Business Administration

· Excellent Microsoft Excel Skills

· CPA would be an asset

· Knowledge of Sage and ACCPAC

· Knowledge of commercial Handheld point of sale devices
