In a historic step, Energy Company JPS, will officially enter the world of retail marketing, with the launch of its e-store, today April 4, at an official ceremony at the Ruthven Road Customer Service Office. The e-Store is JPS’ move to empower its customers in a changing energy market. The e-Store will offer a range of energy-savings products, including power efficient gadgets, monitors, timers and sensors, which are expected to help reduce the cost of electricity to customers.
Products at the e-Store will fall into three major categories: (1) equipment that will save energy (2) equipment that will protect electrical equipment and (3) equipment that will help customers to understand their usage.
The store, which will first open at the Ruthven Road Customer Service Office, will eventually be replicated as a chain of outlets across the island.
