Department of Correctional Services to receive report on Tamarind Farm Adult Correctional Centre incident

The Department of Correctional Services says a comprehensive report on the incident at the Tamarind Farm Adult Correctional Centre in St. Catherine is being prepared by authorities at the institution.
During the incident four Correctional Officers and six inmates were injured.
The Correctional Officers were treated for their injuries, and have returned to duty, while the six inmates who also received medical assistance, are back at the institution.
The incident was quickly brought under control by the Superintendents, the Search Team and Correctional Officers.
