KEY DUTIES:
• Develops and maintains satisfactory relationship with families, community
groups and organisations to garner support for, and assistance with, the work of the Centre and enhance community integration
• Participates in the evaluation of training courses and recommend modifications, where necessary
• Monitors expenditures to ensure they are in keeping with agreed objectives
• Oversees and ensures the adherence of a preventative maintenance
programme for the Centre’s buildings, equipment, appliances and furnishings
• Oversees the physical facilities to ensure that the needs of the Centre are
satisfactorily met and, where necessary, recommends re-organisation/ upgrade
of the facilities
• Establishes and maintains network of industry associations, stakeholders and
other relevant persons and groups to encourage partnerships and information
sharing to enhance the operations of the Centre
• Encourages diversification in the methodologies/approaches in the training & assessment deliveries of all training programmes
• Provides leadership and guidance to staff through effective planning,
delegation, communication, training, mentoring and coaching
• Coordinates the welfare and development needs of staff at the Centre
