The Office of Disaster Preparedness and Emergency Management (ODPEM) will receive a $ 5.7 million donation from the German Government to support recovery and relief efforts in the aftermath of Hurricane “Sandy”. The money will be used to assist in re-roofing and other re-building work of houses, schools and other social facilities. The German contribution will go towards efforts to restore some level of comfort to those affected by Hurricane “Sandy” on October 24.
