On the heels of its successful 2018 ‘Flava with a Beat’
campaign, Grace Foods has revealed its major promotion for 2019. The company will be
partnering with KemTek Homes to make one lucky customer’s aspirations of home ownership, a
reality. The announcement was made at Grace Foods’ ‘Big Reveal’ customer mixer event at
Hope Gardens on Sunday, January 20.
“Last year we got major momentum with our ‘Flava with a Beat’ campaign. We had to really
think about how to top that this year, and we’ve done through this brand new house, valued at
J$14 million and an additional J$3 million in cash and prizes,” said Angeline Gillings, Managing
Director for Grace Foods Limited. She continued, “Every Jamaican wants to own his or her own
home, and Grace wants to be the brand to help them achieve that dream.”
The Grace ‘Winna House’ promotion will run from January to May 2019, and will feature a
number of qualifying rounds and challenges, that will eventually see three lucky finalists vying
to win the grand prize of a two bedroom KemTek house in Stone Brook Manor in Trelawny,
along with $500,000 worth of appliances from Active Home Centre, insurance for a year
courtesy of GK Insurance, bill payments for a year from Bill Express, and a bank account from
First Global Bank. Runners up will win cash prizes of up to $500,000 during the qualifying
rounds.
Mrs Gillings spoke to the exciting and innovative culmination to the Grace ‘Winna House’
promotion - an ‘Escape Room’ challenge for the finalists, to take place at entertainment entity,
‘Puzzle It!’. Contestants will be "locked" into a room and will have to use their wit and curiosity
to solve riddles and clues to figure their way out of the room. The first to do so, wins.
According to Mrs Gillings, “Consumers can look out for magnificent in-store deals, spot prizes,
high value giveaways, Grace Days, and much more. We will be spanning seven towns across
Jamaica on our promo tour and consumers can expect Grace to bring high energy, excitement,
surprises, and opportunities to win incredible prizes. We have partnered with some of
Jamaica’s top companies, including Kemtek, to ensure that every phase of this promotion offers
incredible opportunities to our customers.”
