Restaurants of Jamaica Ltd., operators of the KFC and
Pizza Hut Brands, is seeking to recruit suitable persons as Restaurant
Managers. The Restaurant Manager is responsible for the effective and efficient
operation of a successful restaurant and is expected to develop and empower
team members to perform at their optimum while delivering professional customer
service in a harmonious environment. The preferred candidates should satisfy
the requirements below.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Effectively manage the day-to-day operations of the
restaurant to ensure efficient and optimum performance of staff and systems.
• Maintain a customer focused restaurant, ensuring that the quality service and
delivery are in keeping with the company's high standards.
• Ensure that the Restaurant upholds the required quality assurance and food
safety standards of the company.
• Effectively communicate and maintain the company's culture and required
standards through coaching and motivational exercises towards building a
cohesive team environment.
• Ensure that the restaurant adheres to the respective occupational health and
safety standards.
• Demonstrate effective people management skill to ensure resolution of
problems in a timely manner, while exercising tact and confidentiality.
• Ensure the profitability and optimum operation of the restaurant through
proper planning, cost management/cast control and sales and marketing initiatives.
• Preparation and submission of reports to meet deadlines or as required.
• Demonstrate flexibility and the ability to work on weekends and public
